Disrupting the vitamin market with eternal optimism and a wink.

 

Olly - started by co-founder of the cleaning-products company Method - was determined to take on the task of making vitamin-taking fun and easy with its adult-oriented gummies and plant-based smoothies. They came to YARD NYC for help unpacking this proposition - and creating an iconic brand that connects lifestyle and millennials.

As part of the initial go-to-market team, I helped facilitate client workshops and creative brainstorms to help pin down a motivating brand idea that could connect people to Olly in an emotional way and function as a platform for developing future content and campaigns.

Everything about Olly invited you into a mindset - a parallel reality where everyone looks on the upside of life. We saw a huge opportunity to invite people into this eternally optimistic world through a brand platform that would reflect it - in big and small ways.

Starting with a social media and print campaign, we helped Olly find their colorful and fun voice with a bold social media, print, and video shorts campaign.

Subsequent work by YARD NYC - after my contracted time with the agency - included Willy Wonka-like video vignettes that told the story of each Olly product with a style and playfulness…and the first campaign under Olly’s new parent company Unilever.
